Students of the Shree Shree Govindajee Nartanalaya Government Dance College have threatened to close down the institute if the authorities fail to give their demands by tomorrow.
Members of the college students' union said that .currently one person is doing ail the works of cashier, peon, sweeper, clerk and principal.
The institute lacks basic infrastructures like library, cycle shed and identity cards have not been issued, they said adding the absence of a particular head has largely affected the administration of the institute.
The students said that post graduate class has also not been opened and no candidate has applied for admission after learning that Rs 50 will be taken as fee per month.
The college does not have the chowkidar's quarter, students' union room and lack adequate number of class rooms and staff.
Stating that the college needs students' performing unit, ballet classes, appointment of Sankirtan teachers, upgradation of Lai Haraoba and folk subjects and repairing of the college building, they said that no response has been received regarding the demands they had placed before the Government on June 11 last.
